EventsLes Smooth will help out less fortunate people in any way they can. If you know someone that needs help in raising money for charity, we will shut down the salon on a Friday night for an event that would help to raise this money. Christmas Appeal 2010
This provided single mother's and underprivileged children with a total of 240 Christmas presents containing, toys, books, clothes, toiletries, make-up, underwear, towels and footwear. Les Smooth's 5th bitter sweet birthdayLes Smooth celebrated its 5th birthday in November with balloons, special cup cakes and french champayne of course! With this day was a bitter sweet day for Gilly and the staff at les smooth. Gilly and her husband Darren, had a close friend who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October, she was only 34 and was 25 weeks pregnant at this time. She was given only weeks to live and already had a 16 month old little girl with her husband. This was a total shock to us all.
Our clients and close friends helped Gilly raise money for the little girls left behind. On Les Smooth's birthday, we donated all of our days takings and also all the donations collected prior to our birthday. We want to extend our biggest thank you to our clients that have the biggest hearts to take a minute to talk to us about it and to donate a little something to these girls. Within 3 weeks we raised over $5300. This has been put into a bank cheque ( see receipt at les smooth) and will be given to the husband within the next couple of weeks. This just goes to show that every little $5 or more helps a family like this one. We are so lucky to have the clients that helps people in need like this family. There will hopefully be a fund raising event held next year in March if anyone would like to know more, please call the salon. It only took us approximately 3 weeks to collect all the money! THIS IS A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL OUR THOUGHTFUL CLIENTS AT LES SMOOTH. It was an amazing effort on behalf of all our clients, especially in hard financial times, people still dug deep into thier pockets for people less fortunate. So a huge thank you to all of you and Target for giving us a special discount. Gilly went to the womens' refuge on Christmas Eve and handed over all the goodies. As you can imagine they were overwhelmed with Les Smooth's generosity and they also wanted to say a big thank to Les Smooth's Clients and the team of Les Smooth. Christmas 2008
Thanks to the 40 year old Virgin movie, people are entertained by watching others go through the experience (its really not that bad). We have a group of men that send the new groom here to kick off his bucks night. Please phone to ask further questions on your charity event.

les smooth would like to thank all of our clients that contributed to our Christmas donations for the Wayside Chapel. Over 197 gifts were collected....a huge success. We happily announce the winner of the Christmas donation drawer, Diana. Diana will be spending the night at Jonah's in Whale Beach.
